The Faithful Few | Malachi 3:13 – 4:6

from Lenexa Baptist Church · host Pastor Chad McDonald

August 30th, 2026 Pastor Chad McDonald God always has a remnant. Noah and his family stayed faithful to God in a wicked and perverse day. Elijah felt completely alone in the days of Ahab and Jezebel, but God had 7,000 prophets who had not bent the knee. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not bow to an idol. Jesus had twelve men. God always has a remnant. In the final verses of Malachi, God speaks to the faithful few. Those who had listened to the Lord and obeyed. And God reminded them that there was a day coming when God would make things right. Evil will fail, and right will prevail on the day of the Lord. I pray that you will join us this weekend as we continue to receive encouragement from God’s prophet, Malachi. In a day when sometimes evil is rewarded and wickedness appears to be winning, let’s gather around the Word of God and be encouraged to stay faithful, swim against the current of the world, and keep one eye to the sky knowing that our day is coming. I hope to see you at church this weekend!
