The Fall

In this episode, I dive into Genesis 3 and unpack how easily our desires can cloud our discernment. Like Eve, many of us don’t set out to rebel—we just get caught up in what looks good, what feels right, or what seems to make sense in the moment. We explore the serpent’s strategy: planting doubt, twisting truth, and distorting God’s character—and how those same tactics still show up in our lives today. I share how misplaced trust in our own understanding can lead to hidden shame, broken connection, and silence when God is still calling out, “Where are you?” Inspired in part by Woman Evolve by Sarah Jakes Roberts, but rooted firmly in Scripture, this episode is an invitation to grow in discernment and resist the temptation to let desire lead. God still meets us, even in our missteps—and He empowers us to choose differently.
