Matty & Zane Schweitzer are brothers from the island of Maui who carry one of the most unique family legacies in watersports. Their grandfather, Hoyle Schweitzer, helped pioneer and bring windsurfing to the world, while their father, Matt, became the sport’s first Windsurfer World Champion and went on to win 18 World Championship-level events.Matty, the older brother, is an award-winning filmmaker, photographer, and storyteller whose work has taken him around the world. He directed *Finding True North*, which won Best Inspirational Film at the Los Angeles Film Awards, as well as *Lāhainā Rising*, which co-won the Made in Hawaiʻi Award for Best Feature Film at the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival.Zane is one of the most accomplished watermen of his generation, with world championship titles across multiple disciplines.
