The Family Workation, for the next generation of globetrotting parents

Kate Shifman is the founder of The Family Workation, a company that focuses on serving remote workers who want to dip their toe in the water of living abroad with their young families. Many people desire to spend a month or several months abroad, but they are not sure how to navigate this experience with children. Where will I work? Where will I find childcare? What if there is distance learning involved, and how will the kids have friends? The Family Workcation curates experiences in foreign corners of the world so you and your family can go and spend time abroad with other young families, and interact with the locals, all details taken care of for you - from coworking to childcare, accommodations to activities. Kate tells us more, as well as shares how her experiences growing up as a 3rd culture kid shapes her work today.
