Dr. Rick Chromey is a pastor, historian, educator, author, and speaker. The past 30 years have proven a unique chapter in history. We've transitioned into a new digital, cyber, wireless culture. Technology has reimagined how we work, learn, purchase, worship, and relax from smartphones to GPS, Amazon to Siri, and Twitter to YouTube TV. It's sparked great social movements, new political ideas, and transformative change. But all this innovation hasn't been without consequence. Research shows post-modern generations (born since 1960) are increasingly fearful, divisive, confused, angry, anxious, narcissistic, depressed, and suicidal. Dr. Rick has felt the same way at times...and understands how so many people can fall prey to these emotional triggers. I recognize how difficult it is to lead, teach, pastor and parent today. It's why he has made it his life's mission to help people interpret history, understand generational, social, and developmental contexts, navigate culture and create change, and, finally, understand our spiritual self and the nature of faith. Pastor Rick believes that when we know who we are, how we're motivated, why we behave, and what faith can accomplish, we discover peace, experience love, find joy and cultivate hope.
