The Feasts of the Lord - Pentecost IV - The Covenant

The word Pentecost means fifty.  Fifty days after Passover the children of Israel were again gathered unto the Lord at Mt. Sinai.  Here they received the law.  Here they received the Covenant.  At Mount Sinai, Paul wrote in Galatians the Covenant gendered to bondage.  In Mount Zion, the Covenant was unto the freedom of the Spirit.    We who are in Christ are free from sin and death, and its penalties  In this Covenant of Life we stand in Christ is the Word we have received and we live in, In the New Covenant.  Glory to God.
