The Feeling of Falling In Love

from Queerly Popular · host Mychel Vandover

Welcome to this week's episode of Queerly Popular! This week we'll be talking about the 2022 book The Feeling of Falling In Love by Mason Deaver. It is their third book and is, in all honesty, a fairly typical romance. The main difference being that the main character is a trans guy and the love interest is a queer, non-binary individual. But other than that, it hits all the tropes you could want. And honestly, I don't mind. I start off by (again) explaining why tropes don't bother me, then talk about an odd difference between the book and the audio book. Then we look at the characters a bit before getting to the plot. Finally, we look a little deeper into Neil and Wyatt and why they act the way they do. Although not my favorite of Mason's books (I Wish You All the Best holds that distinction by a long shot), the book is fun and enjoyable and I highly encourage you to read it.
