The Fence at Eldridge Township

In the summer of 2019, a woman named Cora inherited a farmhouse on the edge of Eldridge Township, Illinois. The property came with a strange stipulation: never repair the sagging fence that bordered the cornfield. At first, Cora laughed it off as the superstition of a dying aunt. But the fence whispers at dusk. The moths that gather on it have human faces. And every seventh night, something presses against the wire. By the time Cora understood what her aunt was keeping out, the fence was already falling. This is the story of what happened when she tried to hold it together. Recorded in her own words, spoken to me by candlelight, three hours before the power went out. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #Mothlight #EldridgeTownship #Cora #TheFence #Cornfield #Moths #RuralHorror #AtmosphericHorror #SlowBurn #Superstition #Inheritance #Farmhouse #Illinois #Summer2019 #Dusk #WireFence Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
