The Fifth Hour: Get the dump button ready

“Mama, There Goes That Man!” Ben is back with a lukewarm edition of The Fifth Hour, joined by his Pacific Northwest pal and longtime senior member of the Maller Militia, Robbie the Mariners Fan! Grab the scuba gear because the boys are going way too deep into the Mailbag. On the menu: NFL inflation soaring 72% in a decade, artificial intelligence eventually killing us all, the ancient history of the radio dump button, and some guy Ben and Robbie have never heard of ranking Ben’s show on the radio. Very prestigious. Apparently. Plus: the lost art of actually showing up for work, avoiding load management, getting sick in a foreign country, who helped Ben develop his gasbag radio style, and the proper technique for handling meathead fanboys and brown-nosing callers. It’s radio anthropology mixed with nonsense, unsolicited wisdom and several topics nobody requested. Normal retail price: $799.99. Maller Militia price: FREE.
