Our guest this week is Michelle Malley Campos. Michelle talks about what it's like to work at an Assitant Director in the busy Puerto Rican film market. She also talks about how she applied for a grant for her feature film "Foreigner" from the Puerto Rican government and was awarded $1.288 million dollars! Michelle is NYU Tisch alum and WIF/GM Latina Acceleration Grant recipient, Puerto Rico native Michelle Malley Campos is an award-winning writer-director with almost two dozen short films and music videos under her belt and over 15 years of experience as a DGA assistant director. She is the founder and president of Viento Films, with two feature films in development, founder of the community cinema project Cinema Paradiso en la Loiza, directs podcasts for cultural center La Goyco and is on roster as a commercials director at production house Nostrom in Puerto Rico.
