Our guest this week was Academy Award-winning filmmaker Nani Sahra Walker. Nani is a graduate of Filmmaker Success and a 2024 Oscar-winner. She executive produced the acclaimed short documentaries "Kylie" (Sundance, 2023), "Merman" (Tribeca, 2023) and "Last Repair Shop" (Telluride, 2023), which won the 2024 Academy Award. She is an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley’s renowned documentary program and mentors filmmakers at American Film Showcase and Global Media Makers.
