In 2015, Shaun co-wrote and co-produced the short film "Take Over Your Trap" starring 2 Chainz & the late Bankroll Fresh, which screened at the 2016 SXSW Film Festival. Since then, he’s written and directed numerous feature length and short films. These include: "The Plug" streaming on Amazon & Tubi, "Miles in the Life: Story of a BMF Drug Trafficker" narrated by actor Clifton Powell, streaming on AppleTV, Amazon & Tubi, and "The Curse of La Patasola" streaming on STARZ, "Eighteen" starring Karon Joseph Riley (BET’s Black Hamptons) and Mimi Faust (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta) streaming on Amazon Prime & Tubi. When not writing or filming with his company Anti-Hero Productions, Shaun can be found in his role as president of the non-profit organization Film Family or conducting Atlanta’s only writers room, Shaun Mathis’ Writers Room Collective.
