The Final Picture Show Podcast Ep; 39 Independence Day (1996)

from The Final Picture Show Podcast: Where the End times are Alive! · host Matthew Poland

That's great it starts in space with Will Smith and the guy from Vibes, Cyndi Lauper is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane listen to us talk about Independence Day from 1996. LEONARD BERNSTEIN!! A classic to millennial children everywhere, a film that taught us how to work together to kill aliens and support jingoism, I mean it sold us a lot of video games and toys. This week on the show we talk about the death of Val Kilmer, the charisma of Will Smith, why some movies are allowed to be dumb, why you should replace “th” with “ff,” and survive a torrential downpour. It is a fun time. We have some audio issues this week due to losing internet a lot as we were both experiencing some weather issues this week. But it is only noticeable in 2 places really, hopefully that does not distract from your enjoyment. Next week we hit episode 40 and take a break from the radiation and bunkers and do something completely different as we look at cult classic Empire Records and try once again to damn the man! Save the Empire!
