The finalists for Limerick's 2026 "Going for Gold" competition have been announced

Communities across Limerick have been working tirelessly to make their areas the best they can be, and the top five have been selected to showcase all the improvements they’ve made.The following community representatives join the show: John Hardiman from Castleconnell Tidy Towns and Newcastle West Tidy Towns’ own Vicki Nash, Ben O’Sullivan from Kilmallock Tidy Towns, Patrickswell Tidy Towns' own Sam Milburn and Patricia Ryan from Croom Tidy Towns.Image via Limerick City & County Council Going for Gold.
