The Fingerprints of God 11: Finding the Reality of God Through the Church - 2 Corinthians 13:1-14

from Toronto Alliance Church · host Toronto Alliance Church

People come to our doors in the hundreds each week, and we help them in different ways. But less than 100 metres away there are many in back lanes or propped over in some difficult corner, and they don't come. They're too out of it, or completely lack hope. The addiction is not the worst part. It's that they have no hope.So I've been going out. I ask God to lead me, and I have the most remarkable encounters with people. Almost everyone says, "I'd really like for you to pray for me." And they don't want you to take a short time.Today is the last in our series walking through the book of 2 Corinthians. I've called the message "Finding the Reality of God Through the Church." Most would probably look for that reality anywhere but the church, because the church has failed in many ways. But when you read through Scripture, you see Jesus is bound to His church, even with all of its struggles. He renews the church. He restores the church.Extra reading: Exodus 33:12-17Preacher: Bill Dyck
