Alerts came in and a mother called her to tell her she couldn't make the lesson because they had to evacuate Pacific Palisades and their house. Alexandra and her student packed up and got back to their houses to find that they had to evacuate. Eventually, all of the Palisades went up in flames. Alexandra's grocery, dentist, pharmacy, bank. Beautiful iconic places turned to rubble in the beginning of Malibu.
