The first hint of Nebraska fall camp football drama

Nearly weeks into preseason football camp at Nebraska, the Huskers are down a running back. Tikey Hayes has been dismissed, according to multiple reports. We didn’t even get to know him. Hayes, formerly at Penn State, came on board only a month ago as a reinforcement among an inexperienced group of backs. But what does his departure actually change?  A period of practice is open for media viewing on Tuesday. We’ll be visiting with special teams coordinator Brett Maher, O-line coach Geep Wade, D-line coach Corey Brown and a group of players. Is Ohio State on to something by getting rid of its traditional senior day? The AP Top 25 is out. Nebraska received zero votes, but it will play Nos. 1, 2, 6, 17 and 22.
