The First Miracle: Jesus at the Wedding Feast

A wedding celebration faces disgrace when the wine runs out. Jesus turns six large jars of water into excellent wine, making His first sign a picture of the new life and grace He brings. This new wine requires soft hearts that repent, stop trusting their own effort, and trust Christ’s finished work. Trust in His shed blood brings forgiveness and the promised feast with Him, giving lasting hope that frees Christians to serve others rather than live for themselves.
