The Fisher Family Tragedies

from Mountain Murders · host Dead Air

Constance Fisher had a somewhat tumultuous childhood but found love at the age of 17-and set off for building the American dream in the post-war era. Despite reportedly having a loving marriage and wonderful children, Constance began suffering from post-partum depression. In 1954, Constance succombs to paranoid schizophrenia-which ends in tragedy. After spending years in a mental hospital, Constance is released but things only spiral downward once again. Mountain Murders is covering a horrific tale of murder, mental illness, and medical failures in mid-century Maine.
