The Five Borough Backlot
from Cityscape
From Sex and the City to Friends to When Harry Met Sally, New York City has been the backdrop for some of the most memorable and influential television shows and movies in history. Our guest on this week's Cityscape is Georgette Blau, the founder of On Location Tours. It's one of the world's largest TV and movie tour companies. Blau hatched the idea for her company after realizing she lived near the "deluxe" high rise apartment building of one of television's class couples, George and Louise Jefferson.

Neon Nights
This AI-generated podcast explores the transformative power of extraordinary acts. Break of Dawn Justice Exposing Viper Dens tracks the relentless pursuit of justice as criminal activity grows more hazardous and baffling. From the darkest corners of the cityscape come true crime stories, expert interviews, and a close look at the criminal justice system, moving from shadow to first light as urban lawlessness gives way to clarity. Each story traces the path from the first scraps of a lead to what the law can prove, pausing on how a case gets built, the blind spots that slow progress, and the toll carried by neighborhoods. Conversations with experts keep things grounded and specific, explaining process, tactics, and consequences without theatrics. The tone stays steady and unflinching: as daybreak shatters the night, those hitherto hidden viper dens are revealed and patterns that seemed impossible to parse begin to line up.
