SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... SHOW SUMMARY: In this week’s The Fix Mailbag with PWTorch VIP analyst Todd Martin and host PWTorch editor Wade Keller, they answer emails from VIP members on the following topics: Are viewers to assume wrestlers and security personnel and backstage workers sign indemnification that they agree to never sue if they are attacked at work? Reviewing the “Friday the 13th” movies How should The Death Riders be featured going forward? More on why some Tough Enough wrestlers weren’t welcomed to the main roster Do guaranteed contracts dampen motivation by wrestlers to grow as performers, such as Mark Henry, Big Show, and Marc Mero in the early 2000s? Is it time to rework or put a pause on the Money in the Bank concept? Some AEW fans say they want a more serious, sports-like presentation, yet so many fans laugh and cheer zaniness and silliness on the shows, so what gives? A look back at Pat Patterson’s babyface turn in Roy Shires San Francisco territory in 1972 and what it says about the merits of minimal turns What was the best chapter of Seth Rollins’ career and character presentation? How would the Shield’s split be rearranged to get the most out of the three wrestlers? Is the Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight hype and Dana White glowing up at reporters, are we inching toward the end of Saudi money influencing boxing? What is Pac’s legacy? Is AEW becoming the steward of pro wrestling given how it’s acknowledging the global scene, such as how they’ve presented the tribute to Pac?
