The Flaming Sword of Quantum Physics: Timothy Eastman, EP 366

Plasma physicist Timothy Eastman cuts our ties to classical physics to release the genie of quantum physics into our collective minds. Solids, liquids and gases now have a 4th state of matter--plasma--in which electrons, protons, electromagnetism and other forces are constantly interacting to create this newest state of matter. Can this new state be a way of understanding psi phenomena and the functioning of the psychosphere? *This episode was originally uploaded to YouTube on September 8, 2024 * Timothy E. Eastman, PhD, plasma and space physics, and philosophy: Dr. Eastman's scholarly works, including three books and over 100 research papers, encompass research and consulting in space physics, plasma applications, space weather and education. Having realized the pervasive impact of multi-level processes and emergence in the natural world, he began to critically assess the implications of new developments in science and philosophy. Dr. Eastman's major work, Untying the Gordian Knot: Process, Reality, and Context (Lexington, 2020), synthesizes recent developments in philosophy, physics, logic, process thought, and biosemiotics, and contributes to a new natural philosophy for the 21st century. https://plasmas.org Bernard D. Beitman, MD has broken out of the restrictive bounds of conservative academic research to produce a blueprint for the practically-oriented new discipline of Coincidence Studies. He has served as chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology and then as chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has reached more than one million people through his Psychology Today blog, radio show, website, and two coincidence books, Connecting with Coincidence and Meaningful Coincidences. Yale and Stanford educated, He is the founder and president of The Coincidence Project. https://www.innertraditions.com/books/meaningful-coincidences to purchase Dr. Beitman's new book "Meaningful Coincidences".
