The Flood

Loss of Spiritual Power: Just as King Saul lost the Spirit of God due to unaddressed internal struggles and jealousy, allowing the enemy to gain ground can cause our spiritual strength to wane. The Devil's "Shiny Things": The enemy uses glamour and allure to beguile, particularly targeting young people transitioning into new environments like college or the military. Our Defense and Victory: The solution is to actively "draw nigh to God" and "resist the devil." This is achieved through: Being in the Word: The Bible is a source of strength, inspiration, and guidance. Consistent Prayer: Honest, open communication with God, asking for help to overcome and stand strong. Exercising Authority in Christ: Knowing that through Jesus, we have power to rebuke the devil, who is chained and ultimately must flee. Pastor King encourages listeners to take a stand, repent if they've strayed, and re-establish their spiritual foundation, reminding them that through Christ, they are mighty and can pull down strongholds, walking in victory.
