We’ve all seen, or may have even experienced heavy flooding, but when someone says “The Flood,” everyone knows the event referred to is the most destructive event that has ever or will ever take place on the face of the earth. No event even comes close to the magnitude of a worldwide flood! How could it? That is what we will be talking about today, but the focus will be more on the reason for the flood rather than the flood itself. In a word, the answer is judgement; God’s judgment meted out on man for his rampant wickedness.  But Noah was one man who sought to please and obey God, and God used him to build the ark that would be what spared his life, the lives of his family, and all the creatures of the earth.
