The Fly & The Brood
from Chick Flicks Podcast Hosted by Chick Flicks Podcast
In this episode of Chick Flicks, McKenzie and Bridget cover two films by the master of body horror, David Cronenberg: The Fly and The Brood. The Fly (1986) stars Jeff Goldblum as a doomed scientist who transforms into an insect and Geena Davis as his lover. Bridget and McKenzie dare to question this film's insistent that flies are sexy, maybe? The Brood (1979) stars Samantha Eggar and Art Hindle as a couple whose acrimonious divorce is worsened by a group of murderous monster children. What woman hasn't wished for a rage-projection to attack a romantic rival? Chick Flicks is a film review podcast hosted by McKenzie Chapman and Bridget Hovell.
