The Food Co-op in Canberra has been around for decades. Located on the campus of the Australian National University, the Co-op provides top quality foods, many direct from the farmers, at affordable prices. There is also a busy cafe, and the Co-op hosts many meetings and events in the evenings. Owned by its members, it is run by several part time co-managers and a vast horde of volunteers. The Food Co-op Shop also hosts CoCanberra's monthly meetups, for which we are eternally grateful! Karina Vennonen, co-manager, joined CoCanberra for our April meetup, to talk all things food co-op.
