The Force Awakens Awakens

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the movie that has probably been alluded to most on this podcast, is ten years old already. Danny and Kevin provide a commentary track for the smash hit that reinvigorated the Star Wars franchise while also setting the tone for soft reboots that would dominate the next several years. The duo talk about how fun this movie is, its place in and the other films in the sequel series, and how consequential it was for the major studios. If you want to watch the movie as you listen, start it at 1 minute and 25 seconds into the podcast. Follow us on Instagram at coffeeanddeathpod or email us at [email protected]
