Jamal Maxsam is a friend; mentor and spiritual coach to leaders. His mission is to ignite leaders to bring change to their assigned area of influence. Jamal is known for his ability to bring strategy; helping those he serves create actionsteps to accomplish their vision and overcome the challenges of leadership.Jamal started his leadership journey at the age of 16, managing a fast food restaurant, leading his peers as well as adults. After studying business leadership, he spent time in the corporate setting where his success continued. Then Jamal opened a new location of a food franchise which resulted in several awards for sales and performance.Jamal shifted to education and continued to grow in the ability to develop people. He taught for 9 years then served as a school Principal.As a school leader Jamal led change causing struggling schools to turn around, and accelerating the progress of others. He has led a school with as many as 92 staff members, serving approximately 950 families.He also provided support to a school Principal at a school that served approximately 2,100 families.In addition to running his business, Jamal serves as the executive Pastor of HEIRS Covenant Church where he equips people to fulfill their purposes and destiny. Jamal lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife where they enjoy laughing and spending time together.
