The Foundation for Elevation
from Calvary International Christian Centre Hosted by Calvary International Christian Centre
Is your heart prepared to sustain the supernatural elevation God is bringing into your life? In this midweek message at Calvary International Christian Centre (CICC) Leeds, we explore the indispensable character trait needed for lasting promotion: biblical humility. While knowledge and spiritual gifts can open high doors, unhandled success and pride can easily destroy what promotion builds. In this episode, you’ll discover: ▪️ What True Humility Means: Understanding humility not as self-hatred or low self-esteem, but as freedom from arrogance, having a grounded perspective, and thinking of yourself less. ▪️ The Danger of Pride: Why "knowledge puffs up" and how pride leads to spiritual stagnation if unaddressed during seasons of rising. ▪️ Developing an Honest Assessment: Learning to evaluate yourself truthfully before God rather than copying the world's standard or pretending. ▪️ Appreciating Community: Recognizing that divine advancement isn't a solo journey, and learning to value the unique contributions of those around you. ▪️ Framing Your Future with Words: How continuously hearing, meditating on, and speaking God's Word actively shapes your capacity for true growth. Learn how to cultivate a humble heart so God can safely exalt you in due season! Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 8:1–3, James 4:6–10, Romans 12:2–6, 1 Corinthians 12:4–7, Hebrews 11:3 Speaker: Rev. Gloria Wilson A.
