"The FOUR A's Of IDENTITY (Part 1: APPEARANCE)" Whoop The Devil Podcast [EP 74] Follow our ministry here: allmylinks.com/whoopthedevil A few years ago, God gave me a message for teenagers dealing with identity issues, low self-esteem, and insecurity called "The FOUR A'S of IDENTITY". I realize that this message transcends young people and is something that all ages need to hear. Each day this week(through Thursday), I'll be podcasting on each one of these "A"'s that we must deal with in order to walk in our true identity in Christ. Let’s start with appearance. We live in a world where appearance is everything. Social media doesn’t help with its endless filters and highlight reels. You’ve got people who can’t walk past a mirror without checking themselves out, others who won’t leave the house without their makeup just right, and some who feel validated only when they have a significant other by their side. We can make an idol out of people's opinions about us, becoming slaves to their views. This isn't how God wants us to live. The Bible says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” (Ephesians 2:10 NLT). You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
