We become the customers, the workers, the cultural source, and the people expected to adapt. Someone else controls the infrastructure, the contracts, the platforms, and the wealth created around it. In this episode of The Fourth Wealth Rush, Ayanna and Simone examine what artificial intelligence means for Black women beyond the usual arguments about whether AI is good or bad. The real questions are about timing, ownership, work, bargaining power, and who benefits when technology changes the way labor is valued. AI is already moving through hiring, customer service, administrative work, creative industries, documentation, screening, and workplace decision-making. The question is not whether every Black woman should become a technologist. The question is whether we will once again be positioned to use the tools without owning, influencing, or benefiting from the systems built around them.
