The Friday Rock Show - 37 - Dangleberry Farm

from A&M Audio Adventures · host A&M

Adrian and Tony's Friday Rock Show goes on location to Dangleberry Farm for a special broadcast. They tour the farm and speak with its owner, veteran pig farmer Bert Kavanagh, about life raising pigs. Bert explains the economics of pig farming and laments the low prices farmers receive from the government.  Interspersed with farming talk, the hosts review new releases from Bon Jovi and Rammstein, discuss Lady Gaga's latest magazine spread, and take calls from listeners requesting songs. It's an entertaining blend of music commentary and an inside look at farm life. The show also includes tales of time travel, sexual awakening, among the  arm life. Letters are read out from listeners like Lindor and Tucker as they share intimate stories, while Jem Kinsella discusses the realities of sheep farming.  So come along, come along, join DJ Adgeen Byrne and Tony Wilson, as we pull on the wellies to slide down into Dangleberry Farm. We get to grips with the manure and silage of aforementioned farm owner Bert Kavanagh plus we get up to the neck in the latest farming practises and rural life from Dargle Bourke, Jem Kinsella and Turtle Desmond.  Also reports from Bertie Boylan on the terrible floods, Micko Madigan harvesting trees and Paddy on the beer (isn't Paddy always).  There are lambs, chickens, heifers, sucklers and a host of other beasts including The Gabbler and his Sci-fi spot plus Professor Critic's traditional Bon Jovi album murdering.  There’s home-made Pearl Jam, Backyard Babies and even planting astrology with Fabian Mortimer.  Fire up the harvester, it's a bulbous FRIDAY ROCK SHOW spraying live carcinogenics in yer face!  A&M indulge themselves and argue alot when making explicit audio adventures & unique audiofilm stories with disturbing characters & lavish sound design.  More than just a radio show. We are right podneycasters.  Adrian and Michael create full-feature comedy adventures & story-filled rock shows.  Original, scripted and in HD audio. We present our Friday Rock Show, with the best in rock music, reading our explicit & dubious listener tales live.  Showcasing new characters & yarns with 100s of hours of feature length ear-films, including Timefiddler, United Mutations, Frumpy Dumpster, Mount Pheasant, Mental Holmes, Panspermia, UCLS, Stargeezers, Moshtalgia, Wool Freaks, Silverback & many more. Artwork & all voices performed by the lads themselves.
