The Fruit of Spiritual Maturity

A man once planted two trees in his backyard. One he watered daily, nurtured, pruned, and protected. The other he left to fend for itself. After several seasons, the difference was undeniable—one bore fruit, the other just leaves. Spiritual maturity is no different. When we walk daily with the Spirit, we don’t just “look” the part—we begin to bear the fruit of real transformation. Galatians 5:22–23 outlines what spiritual maturity looks like—not in titles, talents, or talk, but in fruit. These are not just character traits; they are evidence of the Spirit working in and through us.
