The Fruitfulness of a Christian's Life

Christians often feel the gap between who they want to be and the sin still pulling at their hearts. Galatians 5 names this conflict between the sinful nature and the Holy Spirit, who directs believers towards loving service. His fruit grows gradually and inevitably from living roots, with love, joy, peace and every other quality growing together. Those who belong to Jesus have crucified the sinful nature.
