The Fundamentals of a Great Life 2: Choosing your deepest loyalties wisely - 2 Chronicles 18

Who are our friends? And does it matter? Try talking to your kids about that and you will realize that it's an issue that can make people defensive. We see it in others more than we see it ourselves. We see with our kids how much is at stake but I don't know if we see it with ourselves. These days we are walking through the book of 2 Chronicles and the life of Jehoshaphat. Today's message is titled "Fundamentals of a of a Great Life". Jehoshaphat was an important king and on the whole, he got really good marks in the Bible. He got a very favourable review at the end of his life, just as we will have a review at the end of ours. He had so many advantages and he was given favor and protection by God. But he had this one thing in his life that came near the beginning and at the end and it had to do with who he chose as his friends.
