The Future of Freedom of the Press - Full Show

from Point Taken with Steve Scaffidi & Kristin Brey

WTMJ host Steve Scaffidi was joined by Milwaukee Journal reporters Daniel Bice and Mary Spicuzza, and they began by discussing the Associated Press getting banned from the White House and the future of America's freedom of the press. Next, they talked about the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race between Brad Schimel and Susan Crawford, their partisan alignment despite it being a supposedly non-partisan race. Tomorrow there was going to be a primary election, and they discussed the Wisconsin State Superintendent race and the partisanship of that election. Steve, Dan and Mary discussed the Milwaukee alderman race that is also n the primary ballot and one of the candidates facing harassment accusations from women in three states. Steve asked Dan and Mary what stories they were looking forward to covering this week. “Why are both Mary and Dan wearing white sweaters?” and more fun questions before the show ends.
