The SADC Council of Ministers Meeting is currently underway at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (Durban ICC) in South Africa. The meeting serves as the primary preparatory and operational body ahead of the 46th SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government scheduled for 16–17 August 2026 ​The meeting, Chaired by South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Ronald Lamola, is guided by the 46th SADC Summit theme: “Resilient, sustainable and inclusive industrialisation through Infrastructure Development, Agricultural and Critical Minerals Transformation in Pursuit of a Just World”.
