The Game Group Spoketh: Episode #1- What are the Qualities of a "Good" Gaming Group?

from 20 Sided Gamified Podcast

Friends- "The Game Group Spoketh" is a new podcasting addition to the 20SG lineup, fitting nicely alongside our regular episodes and "Friendcasts". As many of you know, I've had a fairly consistent game group since 2009, when I first met Brian (@nuklearangel on Instagram) that summer. Since that point, Brian and I have gone through many iterations of our Tuesday club, with people coming in and out for a variety of reasons. These episodes are dedicated to exploring different topics related to game clubs, whether they are focused on board games, roleplaying games, and tabletop miniatures games. Each episode will ONLY consist of members of the Tuesday night group, with some familiar names you may have heard on the show- Scott, Chris, Mike, Brian, and Kelly. On this episode, the group will focus on the question of game clubs themselves- what makes them "good"? What are the characteristics that make a club worth attending on a weekly basis? In the case of Brian and I, we've consistently gamed for over 15 years together. I hope you enjoy the banter, camaraderie, and everything in between throughout this episode. More to come in the future!20 Sided Gamified Listeners- if you’re a fan of this show and want access to 12 exclusive episodes that drop on the 30th of each month- shows that are orchestrated and designed by you, join the game at patreon.com/20SidedGamifiedPodcastLLC  See you there, and don’t forget your dice!https://patreon.com/20SidedGamifiedPodcastLLCAnd, don't forget about our sponsor, BetterHelp!
