The Gap and the Gain

from Building Resilience

I'm a big reader, and every once in a while I come across an idea or a book that I just HAVE to share with everybody. When it has to do with my clients or listeners, even more so! Today's one of those days. The book "The Gap and the Gain" by Dan Sullivan really hit me hard—and as soon as I read about the concept I just knew you all would love it. In a nutshell, there are two sort of mindsets we can be in, "the gap" and "the gain". When we're in "the gap", our thoughts tend toward thinking what we lack, while in "the gain", we think of our potential and what we've already got. The best part? Our situation doesn't have to change in order to switch mindsets—which means that those thoughts are completely within our control. Visit me on Facebook or Instagram. You can also find me on my website and book a mini session with me! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
