The Garden Graveyard: Toronto’s Rainbow District Serial Murders

Bruce McArthur, a 66-year-old landscaper who projected a friendly and harmless image, was arrested in 2018 for the serial murders of at least eight men within Toronto’s LGBTQ+ community. Known as the "Gardener Butcher," McArthur targeted middle-aged gay men—frequently of South Asian or Middle Eastern descent—and concealed their dismembered remains inside large planters at a client's property.
