It's three in the morning on a frozen January night in 2019, and Luna's bus has stopped at a gas station in Ironwood, Michigan — a town so far north the highway just stops. The attendant is an old man named Silas who hasn't seen a customer in hours. But he's not alone. Something in the back room is scratching at the floor, something that knows her name.
