This message explores John 10:1–10, where Jesus declares, “I am the gate,” and confronts a foundational question: are we trying to earn our way to God through performance, or simply entering through the way Jesus has opened? It contrasts religion and relationship—showing how rule-keeping and fear can keep people at a distance, while Jesus offers access through confession, not climbing. In a world full of competing voices, we’re challenged to ask whose voice we’re really following. It’s possible to be around church and still not be in Christ. But here’s the good news: through Jesus, we find rescue, freedom, and provision. We don’t have to prove ourselves—He’s already made the way.
