The Generic Jesus (Part 2)
from Seasonal Preaching Hosted by Jeremiah Cox
The New Testament is clear about who Jesus is, and what He requires. He is the exclusive way to the Father (cf. John 14:6). His church contains the saved, and He only has one. However, some in His church speak in indefinite language about Him and His kingdom, and it makes them lest distinct from the world. Also, such language makes the world think they are saved. We must preach Jesus, not a generic Jesus.
