We will always remember the Soapbox Derby bill. State Senator Colton Moore was attempting to enter the house floor during a joint session. Speaker Jon Burns banned Colton Moore from entering and Keith Williams stopped him from entering the chamber. Was Keith Williams preventing him from entering or did he attack Colton Moore? The judge denied the claim. First of all the Capitol has its own jurisdiction. Fulton county does not have jurisdiction inside the Capitol. The authority is the capitol police, like DC. Remember on that day the State Patrol did not arrest Keith Williams that day. They arrested Colton Moore. What they are saying is that Colton Moore was the aggressor. Legal or not Colton Moore was aware that Jon Burns did not want him in the House Chamber. The day before it was all fired up on social media. The judge said that the social media made Colton Moore the aggressor. Colton Moore was not granted the arrest warrant for Keith Williams. GH Seg 2 - Josh McKoon, GA GOP Chair, Will Look You In The Eye And Lie To YouIn the next coming days there will be a lot of negotiations happening. After Sine Die there will be a storm of announcements of who is running for positions. To run the 2026 election all seats will be open. There will be court battles, the lines are being appealed. A lot is happening and who has a plan. County GOP are going to have to step up. District GOP are going to have to step up and they need leadership that will make it happen. Now we have talked about SB303. It is not over with. There is a possibility to get paper ballots attached to a bill from the house but it would have tabulators at the precinct. A lot of people are saying that would defeat the purpose. If we could move the power out of the Secretary of State's office there would be more confidence. Josh McKoon will look you in the eye and lie to you. Attorneys are trained to look at a jury and lie. Josh McKoon is an attorney and he can spin the lies. He is not the person that can get the republican party to where it needs to be for 2026. Josh McKoon made sure that from the time he left Columbus in 2024 that he did not work with the 1st or 2nd vice chair. Josh is only concerned about where he is going to take his next picture. It is not about growing the party. March 15th is the deadline to run for the GOP state office. Don’t let Josh McKoon tell you he wants to build on the momentum and build on the fundraising, not going to happen and didn’t happen.
