The Gift of Pain

from Completely Complete · host Akeh Aghogho

Pain... So many people run away from pain. So many people see pain as a bad thing, an evil or a bad omen. So whenever they feel pain, they immediately do everything in their power to stop themselves from feeling it. I felt pain when I lost relationships. When I didn't succeed at a job. When my body needed some adjustments. But you know what? Pain is good! Pain shows that you're still alive, pain tells you when something is wrong in your body, pain lets you know that something in your body needs to be adjusted. The day, you no longer respond to pain; is the day you die So, if you're in pain right now, it's only an indication that something needs fixing, don't try to numb the pain, don't try to run away from the pain, don't try to surpress the pain. Embrace it, understand it and deal with it from the roots! Put your hand on your chest and say: I thank my body for all the messages it gives me. I am grateful that my body tells me when something needs adjusting. Connect with me on Twitter and IG@Thekingswoman_, send me an email at [email protected]. I love to hear from you
