This is December 24th's exhortation by Matt Carpenter on the role of prayer and the gift of silence in the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth. Matt Carpenter taught history for fifteen years and has served in pastoral ministry for ten years. He is married to Amanda and they have four children: Phoebe, Simeon, Emmaline, and Olivia.
