The Gifts of the Spirit: The Gift of Faith Day 1 - What Is the Gift of Faith?

Awakened to Deliver – The Gifts of the Spirit Week 26, Day 1: What Is the Gift of Faith? Key Verse: 1 Corinthians 12:9 (NASB 2020) “…to another faith by the same Spirit…” ⸻ Episode Highlights • The gift of faith is not saving faith or general trust—it’s supernatural confidence given by the Holy Spirit for impossible situations. • This faith goes beyond what you can believe naturally. It’s the boldness to believe as God believes. • When the gift of faith is active, fear dies, doubt flees, and the impossible becomes expected. • It’s not about your feelings—it’s about the Spirit releasing divine assurance for the moment. • Biblical examples include Daniel in the lions’ den, Elijah calling down fire, and Jesus cursing the fig tree. ⸻ Scriptures to Reflect On • 1 Corinthians 12:9 – The gift of faith by the Spirit. • Hebrews 11 – The “faith hall of fame.” • Daniel 6 – Daniel’s unwavering trust in God. • 1 Kings 18:36–39 – Elijah’s bold prayer and fire from heaven. • Mark 11:22–24 – Jesus teaches mountain-moving faith. ⸻ Takeaway Thought When the gift of faith rises, you don’t just hope—you know. God is going to move. And you stand in that confidence no matter what you see. ⸻ Stay Connected Download your free digital copy of 30 Days of Patience and get all links to connect with us in the Linktree found in the show notes.
