The Gifts of the Spirit: Words of Wisdom Day 3 - How to Recognize and Receive the Word of Wisdom

Awakened to Deliver – The Gifts of the Spirit Day 3: How to Recognize and Receive the Word of Wisdom Key Verse: John 16:13 (NASB 2020) “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” ⸻ Episode Highlights • The Word of Wisdom is recognized through clarity, peace, and alignment with God’s Word. • It often comes as a whisper—not in chaos, but in stillness and surrender. • You’ll know it by its fruit: purity, mercy, peace, and spiritual authority. • The Spirit speaks in prayer, worship, conversation, and unexpected moments of obedience. • To receive this gift, you must ask in faith, stay in Scripture, learn to listen, and be ready to act. • God releases more wisdom when we obey what He’s already spoken. ⸻ Scriptures to Reflect On • 1 Kings 19:12 – God speaks in a gentle whisper. • Isaiah 30:21 – “This is the way, walk in it.” • James 1:5–6 – Ask for wisdom and believe. • James 3:17 – Wisdom from above reflects God’s character. • Luke 12:12 – The Spirit will teach you what to say. • Colossians 3:15 – Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart. • Isaiah 50:4 – He awakens our ears to listen. ⸻ Takeaway Thought God’s wisdom isn’t far off—it’s closer than you think.
