The Gifts Part 6: Exhortation

The gift of exhortation can be challenging to understand because the word 'exhort' can mean several different things depending on the context. This week we consider the 3 primary ways exhortation is used in Scripture along with two exhortations from John the Baptist in Luke 3 and the Apostle Paul in Acts 13 to see how all the elements of exhortation work together to bring about their desired effects. The message concludes with the spirit and heart of true exhortation and why this gift is so important to the Church.
