The Gingerbread Rock is a free short fairy tale story about Hans and Lisbeth, two hungry children raised by a greedy uncle who barely feeds them. Sneaking into the moonlit forest one night, they stumble upon a great rock that crumbles into gingerbread at their touch. When they venture inside, they find an old man sleeping at his table — and realise with horror they have been eating his home.
